No matter what else I have going on in my life,
I always return to Music as a way of
keeping myself centered.
Drawing on my background in theatre and music,
I have decided to try my hand at writing a musical!

I wrote this song for a song contest with the writing prompt "Outside." It was during the 2020 lockdown when everyone was antsy to get outside. In the end, I didn't submit to the contest, but the song that resulted was a joy to write and perform.
This song was inspired by a particularly beautiful fall
a few years ago in Ohio.

This is a track I composed for an upcoming noir podcast series about a female P.I. in Chicago, MacKenzie Phelps. The series is being created by Mark and Hollis McCarthy. In 2020, it received second round laurels in the Austin Film Festival script competition.
